Haitian gangs and individuals financing and arming them could soon find themselves labeled as “terrorists” and imprisoned in El Salvador’s notorious maximum-security prison, the same facility the Trump administration has been sending members of Venezuela’s Tren de Aragua.
Their response about their 1st amendment right to publish whatever they want is telling. If I were the publication, my defense would not be it’s my 1st amendment right to say whatever I want, my response would be to hand over the research and challenge anyone to prove us wrong. I would invite you in and be transparent in our studies. I would NOT be saying I have the right to say whatever I want, if I were a legit publishing organization.
If I were a legit publishing organization I would stand behind the research instead of standing behind my right to free speech. This response demonstrates the need to require scientists to back up what they say for the safety of the public. For starters their statement that a man can be a woman. Let’s start there.
