Shabana Mahmood will address the House of Commons on Monday to lay out "the most sweeping reforms to tackle illegal migration in modern times", effectively since the Second World War.
As the know it all economists scream about tariffs and the falling sky, they have forgotten history. What happened and how tariffs eluded America is the question not answered.
