The US companies proving Trump’s tariffs could bring Middle America roaring back
Big Time Advertising & Marketing in St Louis, Missouri is another business that has seen an unexpected boost from the tariffs.
The agency, which specializes in work for new and used car dealers, has seen its revenue jump 40 percent this year.
Its clients are asking the agency to make campaigns that appeal to buyers spooked by tariffs and the overall economic uncertainty.
'Our phones are already ringing off the hook. "How much should I spend? How should I change my messaging?"' the agency's CEO Terry MacCauley told the Journal.
Their response about their 1st amendment right to publish whatever they want is telling. If I were the publication, my defense would not be it’s my 1st amendment right to say whatever I want, my response would be to hand over the research and challenge anyone to prove us wrong. I would invite you in and be transparent in our studies. I would NOT be saying I have the right to say whatever I want, if I were a legit publishing organization.
If I were a legit publishing organization I would stand behind the research instead of standing behind my right to free speech. This response demonstrates the need to require scientists to back up what they say for the safety of the public. For starters their statement that a man can be a woman. Let’s start there.
